Achieving the Dream

Our journey with Achieving the Dream provides the opportunity to make significant, strategic improvements to the already great work we do for students.

Achieving the Dream is a national, nonprofit network organization that helps colleges make evidence-based institutional improvements. They are committed to sustainable changes that lead to student success and the closing of achievement gaps.

Achieving the Dream focuses on students’ success in their academic goals and beyond, extending into the vitality of their communities. This idea meshes perfectly with Madison College’s mission, which is focused on open access, quality higher education that fosters lifelong learning and success within our communities.

The organization has a long history of helping to facilitate strategic, data-driven improvements at more than 300 colleges. One of our own WTCS colleges, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, is a Leader College of Distinction with Achieving the Dream.

I got involved because of my deep commitment to serving students. It is my genuine honor to work with students every day.
